Founded in 1999 by Frank Boyd and formerly known as Boyd on a Wire, BCS has grown to become one of the premier low voltage and A/V companies in North Texas. With dozens of company-wide and customer-improvement initiatives, BCS has scaled and enhanced its service offerings to provide a complete commercial and home technology solution package regardless of size or complexity. Trusted by family members and fortune 500 companies alike, BCS still offers a personal approach to each project, and will remain focused on its roots to be a partner and company that people want to do business with for decades to come. 

At BCS, we are a family and faith-based company that offers personalized service across all of North Texas, southern Oklahoma and Western Louisiana.

Frank L Boyd, III - CEO 

Frank Boyd is the CEO of Boyd Connected Services. Serving as the CEO, Frank serves as the Chairman of the Board, sets the vision and strategy for the organization and helps to build the business utilizing his network of colleagues.

Frank started BCS (formerly Boyd on a Wire) in his garage in May of 1999 with a single vision and purpose – to provide high value, affordable audio visual services in the North Dallas area. Only a few years into the business’ opening, Frank had the foresight to expand his company’s service offerings which proved to be helpful as the 2008 recession hit, forcing many other A/V companies to close shop.

Frank is a Texas A&M alum with a degree in Electronics Engineering.

Rick Webster - President 

Rick's role is the President of Boyd Connected Services. Rick ensures the daily operations of the company are running smoothly, customers are satisfied, and executes against the vision, mission and culture. 

Rick is a veteran business and technology leader who brings over 20 years of experience solving the toughest problems for companies ranging from start-up companies in need of strategy and vision to Fortune 500 companies in need of implementing global solutions. 

Rick is a U.S. Air Force combat veteran serving his country first working on fighter aircraft and then later serving as a combat medic. 

Debra Boyd - Chief People Office

Debra’s role is the Chief People Officer and Operations Strategist at Boyd Connected Services. Debra ensures that BCS’ culture is well defined, oversees all human resources, sets operational strategy, and sits on the board of directors.

Debra is a veteran business leader with over 25 years of large-scale enterprise and small-business execution under her belt. Debra has served in every capacity at BCS and brings a wealth of knowledge, vision and foresight to the company.

Blake Gunn - Vice President of Sales

Blake serves as the Vice President of Sales for BCS. Blake creates that sales, account management and new-service-offering strategy for BCS, and also builds the tactical plans to execute against it. Blake plays an active and important role in helping to grow our company and ensuring that our customers are satisfied along the way.

Blake served his country for 4 years, serving active duty as a U.S. Marine.

Cara-Lisa Leatherman - Business Development Manager

Cara-Lisa’s role is to develop existing and new business, with a heavy focus on client communications and satisfaction. In this active role, Cara-Lisa bridges the customer with our field technicians and back-office functions, ensuring that the customer’s needs are met before, during and after work is performed. She plays a critical role in the ongoing customer satisfaction for our company.

Cara-Lisa has 19 years of account and relationship management experience with global Fortune 50 companies. Cara-Lisa studied Psychology at Ashford University.

Andy Welker - Operations Manager

Andy's job is to engineer and design our A/V systems to meet the specifications of each job. Andy takes an active role in job oversight from inception to completion, maintaining constant communications with our field technicians, venders, and brand representatives to keep our clients in the know about the progress of their project, and answer any technical questions they might have through the process. Andy's technical aptitude, and customer service oriented mindset helps ensure our jobs run smoothly, in order to deliver not just a working system, but a pleasant experience for all of our customers.

Andy holds a degree in audio engineering from Stephen F Austin college and has over 9 years of Pro Audio experience as well.
